Skincare problems!

Hey guys,
Im just writing this post because I badly need to find a new cleanser and toner! I needed one quick so i bought the boots own brand cleanser. I dont like it really. I dont really know why , but all of a sudden my really dry skin has become really oily. I dont want to spend a huge amount, but if anyone know's a really good cleanser and toner that could maybe improve my skin, please leave a comment. Im using the simple light hydrating moisturiser too. Yeah, so thats it really.

Thanks for reading!

Hey Guys,
Sorry for the long title but i went shopping yesterday for my birthday and i picked up a few pieces which i thought id show you :)

1. Real Techniques Core Collection
These brushes feel absolutely amazing on the skin. I used the buffing brush which is the largest brush for my liquid foundation. It just went on so well and blended in to the skin. I used the next brush for concealer on spots, the next brush which is a pointed foundation brush which i used for under eye concealer and the 4th brush is a contouring brush which i used for contouring. The cost of these brushes were €25.70

Superman T-shirt
I picked up this t shirt in a shop called Libaas. They have some lovely clothes, and are so cheap!

Katy Perry Lashes
These eyelashes are amazing. They look so natural and are really easy to apply. The glue is also really good and easy to remove. I picked these up in boots for about €9.00

'Love' Chain
I picked up this gorgeous necklace in Newlook. I dont remember the price, but it was reduced. I think it was about €2.85.

Cross Earrings
I got these earrings in Miss Selfridges for €1.50 which was such a good deal. I think they were originally €7.00 which was a massive discount.

Earrings all from Claires
These earrings are all from claires. I dont know the price as it was a present.

Simple Light Moisturiser
I got this moisturiser in boots for €3.99. I cant really say much about it as i only got it yesterday. Once ive had it for a while ill do a review on it. So far it feels nice on my skin and hasnt caused any problems.

Magnetic twist nail varnish
This nail varnish was about €4.99. You simply paint it on and hold a magnet over it. if you would like me to do a full review/Tutorial, let me know :)

I got a few bits in primark, but i didnt have time to take pictures of them. I got white canvas shoes, a white top with a slit on the back, and a pair of light pink jeans.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

Hi guys, So i got my Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream samples today in the post. I tried it on and below are the pro's and con's of the product.

Pro's:

  1. Quite good coverage
  2. Lightweight on the skin
  3. Good colour range
Con's
  1. Very oily
  2. Runny consistency
  3. Can look a bit dirty after a while

So, thats the pro's and con's on the product. I find the application easy enough, but I felt like it took quite a bit of product to actually cover much. Ill do an updated post on this once ive tried it out for a few days. If you click on my tab 'Current makeup samples' you'll find where to get a free sample until it expires!.

Garnier BB Cream

Hey Guys!
Sorry Ive completely forgot to post on this, I kinda thought to myself, how am i gonna get new followers, and is it even worth my time posting on this. Anyways, Ive decided to keep posting, even if no-ones reading it, it's still something to keep me occupied and maybe some more people might follow or even read it.Who knows!. Anyway, this review is on Garnier BB cream. I actually didn't purchase this product. I was online and saw that Garnier were giving away free samples of it for the first 250,000 i think. I signed up for the offer which is over 18's only, so i signed up my mother (with her permission). The product took about a week or two to arrive which was actually brilliant. You can get your sample here. I think Garnier are brilliant for sending out samples, i have signed up for previous offers on other websites and they haven't even come yet. Ive given up on those, doubt there gonna come a year later!. I also signed up for the ultra lift challenge which came super quick with really good packaging. I don't have any crows feet so, i gave the package to my granny, somehow i don't think she'll use it, but maybe if she does, it'll work for her.

For the actual BB cream, i put it on this morning. I was sent out 3 sachets which have a lot of product in each. All samples are sent out in light, so maybe for people with tanned skin or darker skin, maybe it might not work for you. I have pale skin, and the light was too dark, so i had to bring it down my neck. The BB cream goes on so smoothly! i used my fingers which i never do, because i find it to be uneven. As many people will say, this gives very little coverage. I have freckles under my eyes and it didn't cover them at all, no matter how much i applied. The main thing i like about this product is the fact it's light, and you wouldn't even know your wearing it. It gives a nice colour to the skin and doesn't look cakey at all. This is my first BB cream, i have signed up for maybelline's dream fresh BB cream sample, Hopefully it comes, maybe if i like it, ill even buy it! You can sign up for that offer here. I don't know if the offer has expired or not, but its worth a try.

If you have any other questions you can comment below, or just email me, You'll find my email in the contact me section at the top of the page.

Elf product review

Hello :]

This post  is going to be based on elf''s products. I love elf. Ive never had a problem with any of their products which is a first to say considering most dear brands of makeup often cause a lot of problems whether its packagaing or the quality of the actual product. Ive never used their face products so i cannot guarantee how good or bad they are. I have the foundation brush, powder brush, crease brush. Ive also bought their lipstick and lipgloss, but as presents so i cant really say what i think of them. I also have an eyeshadow from the studio range.
Foundation brush

Foundation brush: I absolutely love this brush. Unlike some other brushes, it doesn't go streaky at all. For €1.75 (£1.50) its an absolute bargain.

 Powder brush

Powder brush: This is an all time favorite brush. I use this brush everyday for foundation. It can also be used for powder and blush. It barely sheds at all, but maybe after a year or so, it may have shed quite a bit, but for €4.00 (£3.75) its definetly worth it, compared to the Mac stippling brush which is probably 10 times the price.

Crease brush

Crease brush: This brush is amazing for getting into the crease of the eye ( as the name suggests :P ). I also use it for applying eye shadow to the whole lid, it does the trick and always looks good. This brush  is also €1.75 (£1.50). Well worth it.

Studio pigment Eye shadow

Eye shadow:Im not a huge fan of this eye shadow. I have mine in breezy blue. First of all, the brush is absolutely tiny and no good for applying the eyeshadow. Its also hard to get the eyeshadow out as there is a plastic covering over it. The eyeshadow doesnt apply well on the eye and almost looks as if your eye has been hit or something. Definetely not one of my top buys from elf. This product costs €4.00 (£3.75)

All pictures are linked back to elf. Definetely a website to check out. Have you any favourite elf products? How has your experience's with elf been?
 Let me know!
